I'm Dimpal — a psychologist, stylist and, for many people in Kerala, the girl from Bigg Boss. What makes me different isn't only my degrees. It's the life that shaped them.
North meets South
My father, Satyavir Singh Bhal, was a Rajput from Uttar Pradesh. My mother is a Keralite from Idukki. I grew up between Delhi and Kochi, and I speak Malayalam, Hindi, English and Tamil. I'm the bridge — and that's where I belong.
Papa, always
His name is tattooed on my hand in Hindi.

My journey
Age 12
Diagnosed with osteoblastoma, a rare bone tumour. I survived — and it shaped how I understand pain and recovery.
2011
Start styling and modelling. Co-found LAHB Makeover Styling Booth with my sister Thinkal.
2016
Work as a counsellor and therapist at The Choice International School.
2019
Begin my psychology practice in Ernakulam, with free sessions for children and women who can't afford help.
2021
Enter Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 3 on my birthday, 14 February. I left the house when we lost my father, came back, and finished 2nd runner-up.
2021–23
Young people start writing to me for mental health support. The free sessions keep growing.
Today
Psychologist, stylist, coach and creator — still answering every message myself.
