I'm Dimpal Bhal — a clinical psychologist, fashion consultant, mental health advocate, and public figure based in Kerala. What makes me different isn't just my qualifications. It's the life that shaped them.

The girl who survived

At age 12, I was diagnosed with Osteoblastoma — a rare bone tumor that causes bones to dissolve. I survived. That experience permanently changed how I see pain, resilience, and the human capacity to recover. It is the foundation of everything I do professionally.

I also carry my father's name, Satyavir Singh Bhal, tattooed on my hand in Hindi. During Bigg Boss I said: “You will always be alongside me, papa.” That moment — raw, unscripted, human — is who I am.

North meets South

My father is Rajput, from Uttar Pradesh. My mother is Keralite, from Idukki. I grew up between Delhi and Kochi, speaking Malayalam, Hindi, English, and Tamil. I am not fully North Indian. I am not fully South Indian. I am the bridge — and I think that's exactly where I'm supposed to stand.
